I recently had the pleasure of covering Kate and Gareth’s big day in the wonderful setting of Kate’s family home, Holverston Hall. This proved the perfect setting as they both live near and work in London and cherish their trips back up to the hall and the surrounding peace and tranquility. Preparations began at the hall with Kate the model of cool, calm and serenity. After shooting the details, prep’ action and a few nice informal portraits it was off to their service at the impressive St Andrew’s Church in Framingham Pigot. As soon as the confetti had been thrown Kate and Gareth enjoyed a chaffeured drive in a classic Chrysler back to the hall for the reception with the guests in hot pursuit. It was a lovely afternoon and I very much enjoyed working in the company of Kate and Gareth’s family and friends. They were a great bunch of people and possibly the most organized I’ve come across enabling me to shoot the final group picture in record time – thank you everybody!
