My pre-wedding portrait work is the subject of a seven page feature in the EDP’s Coastal Life magazine this month. Click here to view the online version of the magazine (starts on page 34). The piece shows images from a great pre-wedding session with a wonderful couple, Clare and Phillip, who will be getting married at Somerleyton Hall in a few weeks time. It’s a fantastic venue and I’m sure we’re going to get some fantastic shots, can’t wait.

It’s Jo Dan’s Mum, Dan & Charlie from Soham.
I showed the pre-wedding shoot pics to both students & my practical tutors in class, they were so impressed with your beautiful photos.
We were also looking at the different techniques you have used, and particularly in the image with the cannons, ’selective focus’ Dan & Charlie are ‘pin-sharp’ in this image. We are assuming you used a telephoto lens & some serious pro glass! Can I ask whether you are a Nikon man or Canon? (Iam Nikon!)
I can’t see on your website how you order photos, and as you know I am living in Australia now, but would most definitely like a couple of canvas’s from the pre-wedding shoot. I’ll have a chat with Dan about what’s the best way to go about this.
Also, our next Industry Sector assignment is to Bio a photographer of our choice, how they got started etc. I would very much like to use you as my study if that’s ok with you. I have found some information from the website on how you got started 6 years ago, and what line of work you were previously in.
I know you are a busy person, but if there is any information you can offer in regards to this, or useful websites, I would be most grateful. It’s in relation to ’starting up your own business’, the business side of it, model releases, contracts, permits etc, and why it is important to keep all this documentation pertaining to the stored images. How do you store your images, as storage is a major problem in the digital environment.
I see you also do landscape photography, and this is my chosen area of photography. I just like to be out on my bike (when I was living in West Sussex) with the camera & photograph away, where I live in Arundel, there is an abundance of beautiful landscape scenery to both enjoy & photograph.
