Back to nature...

The natural world has fascinated me since childhood, that I am now able to spend some of my time taking pictures of wildlife is a great privilege. The sense of achievement when you get the shot you set out for makes all the hours of preparation and waiting worthwhile. Telephoto lenses are widely employed when shooting wildlife enabling the photographer to get close to the subject. In some of my work I also like to use shorter lenses to capture the subject in it's surrounding environment giving it a place and indentity in relation to it's habitat.
